Actor, comedian, television presenter, director and writer. Fry's career began at Cambridge University, where he wrote and performed with Hugh Laurie. This began a creative partnership including the Blackadder series (1987-9), A Bit of Fry and Laurie (1989-90, 1995) and Jeeves and Wooster (1990-2). Fry is the author of several novels, including The Hippopotamus (1994), and autobiographies, Moab is my Washpot (1999) and The Fry Chronicles (2010). He was the host of the quiz show QI from 2003 to 2016. He has also made documentaries including The Secret Life of the Manic Depressive (2006) and Last Chance to See (2009) and is a much-followed blogger on Twitter.
