My grandmother referred to Auguste Milliere as Uncle Milliere, she said that his small finger nail was very long which he used when painting, she also told me that he lived in Enfield. Auguste Milliere painted my great grandmother and the painting of her hangs in my living room, if you would like a photo of this painting please let me know.
