I have a sculpture of a standing woman signed Vogel, (57cms high). We bought it from TKN auctions in June 1983. It was part of the effects of Derwent Cottage Portinscale Keswick. Included in the sale were heads of Dr Francis C Springell and of Gertrude Bertha Springell and several other standing bronze statues of a similar size to mine. The base shown for the heads is similar to the one you have for the sculpture in the portrait gallery. Do you have any information about where Vogel stayed when he came to England? I can provide photos of the statue and of the catalogue if you are interested.
