Chef and restaurateur. Born in County Meath, Ireland. As a teenager worked in the kitchens of a local hotel before spending 4 years in the Netherlands. Returning to Britain he became head chef at Mulligan's, and Stephen Bull's Fulham Road restaurant. Successfully relaunched the Searcy's restaurant at the Barbican Arts Centre and was consultant to Searcy's launch of the NPG's Portrait Restaurant. Won the Catey award for Chef of the Year (2000).
