Lancelot Graham was educated at St Paul's School, where he was Head of School, and Balliol College Oxford, where he read Greats, He served in the Indian Civil Service. He was the first Governor of Sind Province. He was married in 1910 to Olive Bertha Maurice and had two children, David Maurice (1911) and Frances Dare (1916). After returning to England in 1944, he lived at 35 Lansdowne Road, Holland Park, London W11.
