Reginald James William Haines was my grandfather and we have numerous photographs of him. He was born in 1872 and had a studio in Southampton Row (4). He was particularly good at portraiture and his sitters always said how at ease Reginald Haines made them feel when taking their photographs. Unfortunately his studio with the majority of his negatives was destroyed in the Blitz. I'd be very happy to provide you with a short biography and pictures if you'd like.

Did Reginald have any family connections to the North East? My fathers ancestors came from Middlesbrough, Lincolnshire and Hull.
