Sitter in 5 portraits
The art school irony of Jarvis Cocker and Pulp's resolutely unresolved image emerged from a long period underground to BritPop stardom in 1995 with Common People. Other major hits include Disco 2000 (1995), Something Changed (1996), Help the Aged (1997) and the title track from their album This is Hardcore (1998). 2002 saw their release of their Scott Walker produced album We Love Life. As Darren Spooner, Cocker formed the band Relaxed Muscle with Richard Hawley and released A Heavy Night With (2003).
