(1933-), Playwright, novelist and journalist

Sitter in 7 portraits
Novelist and playwright. Frayn's novels include Headlong (1999) and Spies (2002). He published the biography My Father's Fortune: A life in 2010. His plays include Noises Off (1982), Democracy (2003) and Afterlife (2008). His book Matchbox Theatre, a group of short-stories, was produced as a set of sketches at the Hampstead Theatre in 2015.
