Rabindra Singh

London-born and raised in Liverpool, artists Rabindra and Amrit Singh's work employs traditional techniques of Indian miniature painting. The twin sisters have created a seamless combined style, collaborating on works together as a team. In 2002, the Singh Twins were artists in residence at Manchester's Commonwealth Games. Their first retrospective, Past Modern, was held at the Walker Art Gallery, Liverpool in 2005. Their most famous works include Nineteen Eighty Four (1998), which depicts the storming of the Golden Temple by Indian troops in 1984, and From Zero to Hero (2002), a portrait of David, Victoria, and Brooklyn Beckham as 'The New Royal Family'.
