Blanche Beatrice Bromilow (1843 – 1893) was born in St George Hanover Square, Middlesex. Her father, Adam Bromilow (1803 – 1844), was a Barrister at Law at Lincoln’s Inn and a son of William Bromilow (1772 – 1839), a Coal Proprietor in St Helens. Her mother, Frances Anne Donnelley (1809 – 1857), was the daughter of Admiral Sir Ross Donnelly (1761 – 1840).
In 1844, a year after Blanche was born, her father as well as four siblings had died of scarlet fever.
Blanche married Joseph Marmaduke Taylor (1835 – 1882) in 1879. He was Surgeon Major of the Royal Horse Guards.
