Deputy Prime Minister (2010-15), Leader of the Liberal Democrat Party (2007-15) and MP for Sheffield Hallam (since 2005). He was Lord President of the Council during the coalition government (2010-15). Clegg studied at the University of Cambridge, University of Minnesota and the College of Europe in Bruges. He embarked on a career in journalism before beginning his political career as a Member of the European Parliament for the East Midlands (1999-2004).
