Model, actress and younger sister of Jean Shrimpton. Born in Buckinghamshire, Chrissie moved to London at the age of eighteen and worked as a secretary for Decca Records. She later worked for Andrew Oldham (b.1944), manager of the Rolling Stones and between 1963 and 1966 she was Jagger's girlfriend. She inspired his 1966 songs 'Under my Thumb' and '19th Nervous Breakdown'. In 1968 she appeared in London Look magazine as an example of 'the single girl' in London.
