Henry Yelverton was amongst the first to move into the Adams newly speculative properties in Mansfield Street, in St.Marylebone in 1773. He stayed at No.11 for 6 years, leaving in 1779. There's a gap of 3 years then in 1782 Sir John Lindsay KB and his wife Dame Mary (nee Milner) move in until Sir John's death in 1788. A new occupant takes over the property by 1794. Sir Joshua Reynolds painting of the Earl could identify him as living at the address at the time? I will check to see if the Earl and Sir John were acquainted or not. Sir John Lindsay KB, Prince of Arcot was the father of Dido Elizabeth Belle.
