British Iranian comedian, Djalili gained popularity for his sell-out performances at the Edinburgh Festivals including Short Fat Kebab Shop Owner's Son (1995), Arab & The Jew (1996), Behind Enemy Lines (2002) and No Agenda (2005). The Omid Djalili Show was first shown on television in 2007 and his film credits include The Mummy (1999), Gladiator (2000), Casanova (2005) and the 2010 David Baddiel scripted film The Infidel. In 2010 he appeared as Fagin in the West End production of Oliver!.
