Beatrice was a daughter of Isaac Henry de Mercado (1830-1886). She was born in Kingston, Jamaica on 31 August 1866. She married E A de Pass (1851-1937) on 29 Aug 1883 in Kingston. They were the parents of Frank Alexander de Pass, VC (q.v.). Beatrice died in London at her home 54 Albert Court, SW 7. One of her brothers was Charles de Mercado, my paternal grandfather.
