Sir Reginald Glancy was the British Resident of the Indore Residency in India, from 1924 to 1929. He is mentioned in E. M. Forster's memoir, The Hill of Devi (1953). In his penultimate chapter, Forster describes Glancy as "the A.G.G [Agent to the Governor General] at Indore" and gives an account of his role in settling a dispute between the Maharaja of Dewas Senior, and his son the Crown Prince.
