Patrick's son, Arthur G B Ternan, was killed by lightning while heading back to his ranch near Garrett, Wyoming. This was in 1907. Arthur's ranch was next to my great-grandfather's homestead. His father had sent him over from England to make his own way. I have a couple of old newspaper articles that confirm the connection between Arthur G B Ternan and Col. Trevor Partick Breffney Ternan. I also have a photo of the old homestead house. I'd love to get a copy of Col. Ternan's portrait.
