(1968-), Equestrian; Olympian

Philippa Rachel ('Pippa') Funnell (née Nolan)

Sitter in 1 portrait
Pippa Funnell is a three-day event rider. She was a member of the medal-winning GB Olympic Eventing team in 2000 and 2004, when she also won an individual medal. Three-time Badminton winner Funnell is the only rider ever to win the Rolex Grand Slam. With her husband William, an international show jumper, and Donal Barnwell she set up the Billy Stud, now the largest producer of British-bred competition horses in the UK. Despite winning bronze at the 2011 Olympic Test Funnell did not compete in the London 2012 Olympic Games as both her competition horses were injured.
