He was my grandfather. Wonderful. Bigger than life. He was stationed at Wright-Patterson AFB in Dayton, Ohio during the early 50s, as the RAF's Foreign Liason Officer. My mother, Penelope was in high school. She stayed and married my father. They had 4 children, who had 4 children, who so far have had 3 children. Grandpa had another daughter and a son, Aunt Gini and Uncle Richard. Aunt Gini has 4 children and lives in Canada. Uncle Richard had 2 children, 1 passed over15 years ago, the other married and has 4 children they live in Cornwall. All 3 of Grandpa's children are alive. My mother lives in America, Aunt in Canada and Uncle in England.

Air Vice-Marshal Maxwell Edmund Massy Perkins, born 22 August 1907 Portsmouth, Hampshire died 9 August 1985 Aylesbury Vale, Buckinghamshire. One of his descendants has a DNA match to me. He is apparently my 2nd cousin 1x removed. Several records including his international travel can be found on Ancestry.co.uk. I would very much like to see his portraits.
