My great uncle Philip Noel Panton was the pathologist who discovered the Stafilococus Orea germ. The team was Panton/Valentine. I am proud to be his great-niece.

PHILIP NOEL PANTON SON OF JAMES ALBERT PANTON (BREWER OF WAREHAM) and JANE ELLEN FRITH PANTON (WRITER) daughter of the Victorian painter WILLIAM POWEL FRITH.. SIR PHILIP IS MY GREAT UNCLE.YOUNGER.BROTHER OF MY GRANDFATHER DUNCAN WILFRID PANTON. SIR PHILIP LIVED IN BORNEND (BUCKS) HE HAD NO CHILDREN.
