I can tell you more.I worked with him initially in HM Factories Inpectorate I think in 1964. He was in charge of blood transfusion for the D day landings. I worked again with him in 1972 looking after haemophiliac children at Lord Mayor Treloar Hospital Alton Hants.
I knew him well and he told me many stories of his life involving Montgomery and Churchill.
