About Colonel Russell-Hay, I had the pleasure of knowing him when he was on the Board of Overton's on St James Street; a handsome dapper gentleman married to the very beautiful Sonja (Sunny). Amazing to see his name. Partners, Messrs. Hart and Kerman.

Major ( temporary Lieutenant- Colonel Geoffrey Russell-Hay served in the Royal Army Service Corps in Rome in 1945, nominated for an OBE, but not sure if it was confirmed. He also received a medal from the pope at the time, which is now with one of my nephews. He then went on to become an auctioneer for Sotherby's, specialising in auctioning ships and ship contents.
Finally he was Managing Director of Ogilvies fish restaurant in London. He wrote a weekly recipe in the Times. At some point he was awarded the honour of Chevalier test du vin, I have his certificate and silver tasting cup.
He married Sonja Potter and they retired to Brighton.
