John Walmsley
(1947-)Artist of 9 portraits
John Walmsley's final year project at Art School in Guildford, on A.S Neill and his democratic school, Summerhill, was published as a Penguin Education Special. Since then, he's been a freelance documentary photographer working mostly for book publishers. For thirty years, he worked with the writer, Leila Berg, on many books for and about children and how society treats them. He has had one-man shows in London, Vienna and many other cities.
