Lewis Strange Wingfield (1842–1891) was an Irish traveller, actor, writer, and painter. He had a full and varied life selecting the stage over Politics. Lewis Strange Wingfield married, on 16 June 1868, Cecilia Emma, fourth daughter and fifth child of John Wilson Fitzpatrick, 1st Baron Castletown.

Maurice Richard Wingfield - Born 13th January 1839, second son of the 6th Viscount Powerscourt. at the time of the 1841 census, Richard and his family were living in Dover Street, St George Hanover Square, Middlesex, England. He entered the Royal Navy in 1853 aged 14, aboard HMS Nile as a Cadet, then as a Midshipman during the Baltic Campaign where He remained until 1860. On 18th May 1855 he was personally presented with the Crimea Medal by Queen Victoria at Horse Guards Parade. He married Mary Agnes Block on 11 Jul1865 at St George Hanover Sq., London. by 1866, he gained the rank of officer in the 1st Life Guards. MAurice died on 14 Feb 1866 at St. Leonards-on-Sea, Hastings, Sussex. His will left less than £4,000
