Major John Henry St. John was the grandson of the 3rd Viscount Bolingbroke. His wife, Margaret Warren, was the daughter of Major-General Charles Warren, and the sister of General Sir Charles Warren, R.E.
I'm a former Curator of Levantine Antiquities in the British Museum, and form Executive Secretary of the Palestine Exploration Fund, for which General Sir Charles Warren worked as a Lieutenant.
