My husband and I rented Lady Twinings house on the outskirts of Nairobi for 6 months in 1969. It was composed of 2 african rondavel style units joined together by an entryway. She used to spend the English summer in UK and the English winter in her Nairobi home. She had a house boy called Nyaga. It was a humble home but very functional in the African heat. We never met her but appreciated our first home during our stay in Kenya
