She married Bernard Gilpin Waring 1876-1959 on 18 November 1908 at the Germantown Friends Monthly meeting, in Germantown, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. She died of pneumonia 10 January 1923 in Germantown, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, age 38. She was buried in Friends Southwestern Burial Ground, Upper Darby, Delaware County, Pennsylvania, grave number 1140. Mildred and Bernard had 4 issue.
1. Margaret Whitall Waring 27 July 1910-9 May 1994, who married Henry Carter Evans on 13 June 1931.
2. Ann Newlin Waring 18 July 1913-17 February 2000, who married Horace Eastburn Thompson, Jr. on 28 December 1935.
3. Dorothy Gilpin Waring 12 March 1915-22 August 1969, who married William Wharton Smith, II on 28 December 1935.
