Ghanaian-British journalist, broadcaster and writer. Eshun studied Politics and History at the London School of Economics where he began editing the arts and features for the University's weekly newspaper The Beaver. He has been Editor-in-chief of Tank magazine, Editor of Arena (1996-9) and of Virgin Atlantic's in-flight magazine, Hot Air (since 1999). Contributor to the Guardian, Independent on Sunday, The Face and the Observer and regular reviewer on BBC television's Newsnight Review. He was Artistic Director of the Institute of Contemporary Arts, London (2005-10). Eshun's memoir, Black Gold of the Sun (2005), describes a trip to Ghana and issues of race and identity.
