My house Ardmore Country House Kinnitty Co Offaly formerly King's country was built by Thomas Bernard as a doctor's residence. I have made a short video of the Kinnitty Pyramid on my facebook page www.fb.com/kinnitty where he is buried.

He was brother of Lieutenant Colonel Richard Wellesley Bernard.
His family home was Bernard Castle (now Kinnitty Castle) in Ireland, County Offaly.
He is a Great uncle (x5) of mine as I have recently discovered after researching my family history.
