Ruth Gollancz (née Lowy), the wife of Victor Gollancz, was a gifted British artist. She studied at the Slade School of Art under Henry Tonks from 1909 to 1912, during which time she also became involved in the suffrage movement. In 1917 she became one of the first four female members of the Architectural Association. She married Victor in 1919 and offered unwavering support for his work and activities.
