Marianela Nuñez

Argentinian-born Nunez joined the graduate course at the Royal Ballet in 1997 and joined the Ballet the following year, aged 16. She was made a principal in 2002. She is one of the company's leading ballerinas and has danced most of the repertoire. Brazilian-born Soares, her former husband, joined later in 2002 and became a principal in 2006.
