Zenaida Yanowsky

Zenaida Yanowsky is a former Principal of the Royal Ballet. Joining the company in 1994, she performed leading roles in the classical, dramatic and contemporary repertoires. She has won several awards including Outstanding Female Performance (Classical) at the 2016 National Dance Awards for Elizabeth and the Grishko Award for Best Female Dancer at the Critics' Circle National Dance Awards 2017. Spanish-born to parents who were dancers, she is married to baritone Simon Keenlyside.
