Professor of Atmospheric Physics at Imperial College and co-director of the Grantham Institute for Climate Change and the Environment. Haigh's research focuses on radiactive transfer in the atmosphere, solar variability and climate modelling. Through her assessment of levels of carbon dioxide emissions and climate change, she has become one of the lead authors on the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change. A Fellow of the Royal Society and the Royal Meteorological Society, she was awarded the Royal Meteorological Society Adrian Gill Prize in 2010 and appointed CBE in the 2013 New Years Honours.
