Chris Froome

Kenyan-born British road cyclist Chris Froome is one of the most successful riders in modern cycling. He represented Kenya in the 2006 Commonwealth Games, before moving to Europe and racing for Britain with Team Sky from 2010. Froome won bronze medals in the London 2012 and Rio 2016 Olympic Games and was appointed OBE in 2016. He is a four-time winner of the Tour de France (2013, 2015-7) and is the only British rider to have won all three 'Grand Tours' in one calendar year, with wins in the 2017 Vuelta a España and the 2018 Giro d'Italia.
