Violette Szabo was shot by German solders. Violette was the last female SOE to be killed (Special Operations Executive agent). Violette became a SOE 6 months after her partner was killed in action, at the start when Violette was first asked to become a SOE she was not sure about it, it took 3 months for Violette to say yes but the one thing she did not like about the rules of the job was she could not tell her family she was a SOE. One of the reasons she became a SOE was her daughter.
