Singer and songwriter Jorja Smith released her debut single 'Blue Lights' in 2016; the music video, directed by photographer Olivia Rose, is set in the singer's hometown of Walsall, West Midlands and includes cameos from Jaykae, Mike Skinner, Preditah and Benjamin Zephaniah. The film won Best UK Urban Video at the UKMVAs. Smith has also collaborated with musicians including Drake and Stormzy and in 2018 she won the Brit Critics' Choice Award. Her debut album, Lost & Found, written over a five-year period, was released in June 2018 to critical praise. At the 2019 Brit Awards she was named Best British Female Artist.
