Peter Kirtley was born in Hebburn on Tyne 1940s and in the 1950s lived with his parents at 74 Windermere Cres, Hebburn, along with older brother Jim. His father had a Coal Delivery business, so they were well off compared to most families.
They were a Roman Catholic family & went to St Aloysius Church and School. I remember Peter going to guitar lessons as a young teenager as he was a friend of mine. He was a little lad and a decent little footballer.
