Richard Vaughan ('Hell Fire Dick')
(1761-1816), Driver of the Cambridge TelegraphSitter in 4 portraits
'Hell-Fire-Dick', was the driver of a coach, the Cambridge Telegraph, and was a popular figure amongst the Cambridge fraternity. He fell out of his gig and was killed when aged only thirty-two.
