Henry Goodwin Rooth 1861- 1927. of Weatherall House, Hampstead. Educated Harrow and Trinity College Cambridge.. Called to the Bar 1887 Barrister Inner Temple. Later served as a Metropolitan police Magistrate or District Judge at the Thames Court and at Lambeth. Member of the Union, Garrick and Arts clubs.

Married Beatrice Mary Tattersall 21st July 1897 and they had one son, John Tattersall Goodwin Rooth 1906- 1987
