She won silver and bronze medals at the 1924 Paris Olympics, the last Games to feature tennis until it was re-instated as an Olympic event at Seoul in 1988. Godfree reached three Wimbledon finals, winning twice. In 1926, Kitty and Leslie Godfree became the only husband-and-wife team to win the mixed doubles at Wimbledon.
