Maitland MARLER born 1863, St Pancras, son of Henry W MARLER & Mar KEMP. died 1933 aged 69 - death registered at Edmonton His brother, Sidney MARLER (1850-1910) estate agent and auctioneer owned several theatres and had shares in Waring & Gillow & the Savoy Hotel. Maitland MARLER in 1881 census is listed as Martland MARLER with parents in 91, Brecknock Road, St Pancras. Maitland MARLER marriage to Mabel Rodwell RAWLINGS registered in Mar quarter of 1888, Sculcoates. 9d 230. Maitland MARLER 1891 census at Francis St West, Sculcoates. Occupation: Comedian. with Mabel M R Marler age 23, actress, born Middx and Mabel E Marler age 3 born Halifax, Yorkshire. [his wife Mabel possibly died in 1894 in St Pancras] Maitland MARLER marriage to Nellie CLARK registered Dec Qtr 1895, Lambeth. 1901 census Colville Houses (Flat 4), 9, Kensington Maitland MARLER, actor with Nellie MARLER, wife age 29 born 1872 Actress Islington, Middlesex 1911 census 63 King St Southport, Southport, Lancashire Maitland Marler Boarder Married Male Actor 47 1864 Constance Marler Boarder Married Female Actress 28 1883 WHO IS SHE? ------- Sinbad the Sailor, a pantomime written by Thomas Forder Plowman, with music composed and arranged by F.C.
