This is indeed Richard Lestocq Wooldridge, DFC and Bar, MRCVS as described above . Photograph of him taken as captain of English Public Schools Rugby XV 1933/34. He also boxed for Belsize Boxing Club and represented England on one occasion. In WW II, he served a tour of operations with 149 Sqn Bomber Command, and a tour with 161 Special Operations Sqn. Department of Veterinary Services Kenya from 1948 to 1964; Director (?) of Animal Husbandry and Veterinary Services Southern Botswana 1965 to 1969, led FCO British Aid Team to Somalia in 1969 to 1970; FCO Middle East Development Division based at British High Commission Beirut/Amman 1971 to 1976. Born Chiswick 1915; died Salisbury 2013.
