Sitter in 3 portraits
Artist of 1 portrait
The first woman artist to be short-listed for the Turner Prize. During her short and productive career Chadwick was concerned with the desires of human existence. Dealing with a variety of mediums and influences she managed to capture all that is repellent and wondrous in human identity. She has had a considerable influence on a younger generation of artists.
