(1891-1974), Fashion designer

Fashion designer. Studied art and worked for Lucile in London and abroad. Lost an eye whilst serving as a Captain in the First World War. Opened his own couture house in Paris in 1919 with branches in London, Monte Carlo, Cannes and Biarritz. Famed for the elegance and simplicity of his tailored suits, pleated skirts and evening wear. Retired to Jamaica in 1950.
