(1959-), Artist

Sitter in 2 portraits
Artist; studied at Chelsea School of Art (1978-81) and Goldsmith's College (1983-5). Works in a variety of media. Themes include identity using religious and popular iconography. His life size sculpture of Christ Ecce Homo stood on a Trafalgar Square plinth for six months (1999-2000). A thoroughbred racehorse A real Work of Art raced throughout 1994. Represented Britain in the Venice Biennale (2001).
