Ari-Up (Arianna Forster)

Sitter in 4 portraits
Arianna Forster's mother, Nora, was a friend of Jimi Hendrix and married Sex Pistol John Lydon. Their Shepherd's Bush flat became a punk domain and it was there that Joe Strummer (The Clash) gave Ari her first guitar lesson. Ari was 15 when the Slits embarked on the White Riot Tour of 1977 (Silver Jubilee year) with The Clash and the Subway Sect.
