Born in Basildon, Essex and trained at the Sylvia Young Theatre School before coming to fame presenting The Big Breakfast with Johnny Vaughan (1997-2001), as well as presenting late-night television programme Something for the Weekend (1999). Appeared on the West End stage and on Broadway as Roxie Hart in Chicago (2001-2). 2003 marks her debut in a 12 week run of the Andrew Lloyd Webber - Don Black written one-woman show Tell Me On A Sunday.
