Left Eton in 1903 and fought in the First World War. captain in the RAF, late Lt in the RNVR and Trooper 18th Hussars. Balkans, Gallipoli, Mediterranean. May have been taken prisoner. Commemorated on the village war memorial in Mereworth, Kent as one who survived the war. Family owned Yotes Court in the village, a listed building from the mid to late 17th century and a good, rare example of a Restoration period country house.
