Paula Radcliffe

Radcliffe is the current world record holder for the women's marathon, set during the 2003 London Marathon (2:15:25). She has run four out of the five fastest times in women's marathon history. Radcliffe holds numerous records, including the women's 10km. Despite Olympic setback due to injury in 2004, she won the marathon at the World Championships in 2005. Radcliffe won the New York City Marathon in 2007 just months after giving birth to her first child. She was awarded an MBE in 2002.
