Matthew Hilton

Furniture designer who set up his own design studio in 1984. Now Head of Habitat's furniture design team, Hilton made his name in the late 80s with his sculptural furniture such as the Antelope table. Hilton's aim is to produce furniture that is: seductive, modern and highly usable. Hilton designed chairs for the Millennium Dome and was the subject of a retrospective at London's Geffrye Museum in 2000.
